Dr. Ken Gasper has been practicing dentistry for well over three decades and is a staple in the Colorado Springs community. He has gone above and beyond to be a true expert in his field, pursuing extensive advanced training and continuing education in a wide variety of specialty subjects. He is also a racquetball stud and loves his gym time, so he’s an athlete in both mind and body! Dr. Ken has a genuine passion for creating beautiful smiles and well-balanced faces. In fact, he has used his passion for learning to become an expert in surgical techniques, advanced orthodontics and TMJ treatments. He is highly skilled in Neuromuscular Implant Dentistry & bone grafting. Some of Dr. Ken’s professional passions include providing modern functional orthodontics for children, orthodontics and nonsurgical correction of TMJ dysfunction – migraine headaches and airway disorders. He is truly a multi-faceted dental specialist who can use his unique skills to treat complex cases and create beautiful smiles for his patients. Fun fact: Dr. Ken is also a Pharmacist! He completed his B.S. in Pharmacy at Xavier University and then decided to pursue his true passion, by attending the LSU School of Dentistry, where he completed his Doctor of Dental Surgery. In addition to his dentistry license, he is still a licensed pharmacist in the state of Colorado. Over the years, Dr. Ken has also had the privilege of instructing other dentists in the United States, Canada, and abroad. He teaches modern functional orthodontic techniques, facial growth and development, and the treatment for TMJ and airway disorders to general dentists and specialists. He consistently strives to provide every client with not only outstanding clinical care but exceptional experiences as well. And if you’re into good ‘ole southern cooking, he has a yearly tradition of hosting cajun night before Christmas!

Dr. John Neuhaus is one of those special dentists who is passionate about helping people become the best version of themselves. Lucky for all of our patients, he has mad-skills to back up that passion! He is a 3rd generation dentist who is an expert in everything from full mouth rehabs and placing implants to veneers and crowns. He is also an expert at dancing, singing, whistling and humming. Maybe that’s an exaggeration…he’s only an expert at humming. Dr. John graduated from the University of Nebraska Medical Center College of Dentistry in 2004 and has been honing his craft and soaking up as much continuing education as possible since then. He believes in “reducing the risk by treating the cause” and has incorporated airway health, OralDNA testing and perio health as major parts of his practice, to help patients maintain their best oral health. Dr. John has also been a mentor at the renowned Kois Center since 2012, where he shares his love for professional growth and continual skill development and industry advancements with his mentees.

Around our office, you’ll spot Dr. John as the guy wearing the crazy socks with a big smile on his face. In his personal time, he loves spending time with his family and watching/coaching his kids’ sports teams. Basketball is his favorite sport and his “life goal” is to attend Coach K’s old man (fantasy) camp at Duke. Maybe we could trade some dental work for a ticket? Meet Dr. Erick Anderson – A second-generation dentist, Pink Floyd fanatic and Navy veteran, who is not only committed to serving his country, but also to caring for his patients! His father, Dr. Richard Anderson, inspired him to pursue a career in dentistry, and Dr. Erick was lucky enough to work alongside him for 10 years before his retirement in 2018.

Dr. Erick received his Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Willamette University in Oregon before completing his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from Oregon Health & Sciences University Dental School. He completed his Residency at the Camp Pendleton Naval Hospital, and served three years as the Chief Dental Officer on the USS Camden in the Persian Gulf – thank you for your service! Dr. Erick completed his post-doctoral training in Occlusion and TMD therapy at the Dawson Academy, as well as Surgical Placement and Restoration of Dental Implants at The Misch International Implant Institute.

When he’s not caring for his patients at the office, Dr. Erick can be found mountain biking, Nordic and backcountry skiing, trail running, hiking and fly fishing! He loves kicking back and playing the guitar. He’s the ultimate family man, and enjoys traveling the world and learning about other cultures. In other words, he’s a man of many talents and hobbies!
